The Wade Hall Historical Main Street Traveling Postcard Exhibit, created by Troy University Libraries, is made up of panels depicting historical scenes of Alabama. This exhibit includes postcards of streets and building in large cities and small towns throughout the state. For more information, see the digital exhibit at https://trojan.troy.edu/library/wadehall/. The presentation will be an overview of Dr. Hall’s collection of over 25,000 vintage postcards, the creation of the postcard exhibits, and stories of the Alabama represented by these historic cards. The exhibition consists of two parts: the traveling exhibits and the digital exhibit. If you look at the itinerary for the Wade Hall Traveling Postcards Exhibits (https://resources.troy.edu/wadehall/traveling_itineraries.html), you will see these exhibits have been in many locations and will be in many more through the rest of 2019. These bookings are also listed on the Alabama 200 Calendar of Events.
